Scientist - Auditor/Writer

SCIENTIFIC WRITER/AUDITOR - Temporary

Responsibilities
  • Prepares Research Study Reports for preclinical studies conducted across multi-disciplinary fields to support clinical candidate selection in various therapeutic areas.
  • Conducts internal Data Audits of all research output intended for reporting- applying broad scientific and analytical working knowledge of in vitro & in vivo pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, and ADME to critically analyze and interrogate data
  • Ensures scientific studies are conducted and data collected/recorded in compliance with protocols, standard test methods, and internal policies
  • Employs general understanding of statistical analyses for preclinical/discovery research data 
  • Ensures the timely delivery of high-quality documents that are scientifically rigorous, logically organized, and provide concise and accurate data presentation and interpretation
  • Coordinates production of submission ready documents (eCTD) for electronic publishing and manages the flow of research documents and maintenance of relevant databases (EDMS, raw data archives, etc.)

Qualification and Experience Requirements
  • PhD in life sciences, pharmacology, or relevant scientific discipline with 1+ years biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry experience; BS/MS with 8+ years biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry experience
  • Must be meticulously attentive to detail, accurate, and deadline oriented
  • Experienced in analyzing data, drawing conclusions, and communicating results in a concise and impactful manner
  • Proven ability to independently analyze/resolve complex issues
  • Must work well in a multi-disciplinary, cross-functional team environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, oral and written
  • Prior experience with research reporting in an industry setting would be a plus
